“True greatness is measured not by talent alone, but by the humility that walks besides it”. On Tuesday, 14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi proved and amazed the cricket world by touching MS Dhoni’s feet, following Rajasthan Royals' six-wicket victory over Chennai Super Kings at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. Vaibhav Suryavashi is already in the limelight and one of the IPL 2025 biggest talking points not just because of his incredible talent but also for his humility.

A clip shared by CSK on X (formerly Twitter) with the caption: “You won our hearts, Vaibhav!”

With a stunning 38-ball century, the second-fastest ever in IPL history, the young prodigy has repeatedly demonstrated that he thrives under pressure and belongs at the highest level.

On Tuesday, Vaibhav scored a composed 57 off 33 balls to anchor Rajasthan Royals successful chase of CSK’s 188-run target. With support from Sanju Samson and a final push by Dhruv Jurel, his performance helped RR end their season on a winning note.

For CSK, the defeat extended a troubling pattern. This marked their fifth consecutive loss while defending a total this season. Despite a determined middle-order performance by Ayush Mhatre and Dewald Brevis, the team managed only 187/8, with Akash Madhwal’s disciplined bowling restricting the run flow effectively.

Yet, the spotlight wasn’t solely on the match result. A touching moment took center stage as a video of Suryavanshi bowing to Dhoni went viral within minutes, capturing widespread attention and admiration. Fans and former cricketers alike praised the gesture, calling it a touching reminder of the respect and values that make cricket more than just a sport.
